All the original indosyncrasies that made the game a cult hit, and more, will be re-imagined in breathtaking fully 3d interactive environments. To satisfy the classic Marshmallow Duel players and UT fans alike, we are delivering Mowbray's Revenge in the form of several different game types.
The most important, if you are a fan of the original game (and you should be!) will be the 3d side scrolling gametype. This will play just like a 2d side-scroller but with 3d graphics. The game simply has a locked camera distance, and all the action happens on a single 3d plane, to give the dynamic of a side-scrolling game in a 3d universe. This will be a deathmatched based game, which we are going to develop to match Marshmallow Duel gameplay as closely as possible. This involves the unique weapons of the original game, which will make the game different to the gameplay of most modern 3d shooter games.
On top of this we are designing several new weapons and powerups to add to the classic arsenal. We are also going to translate Marshmallow Duel gameplay into a modern fully 3d 3rd person environment. This will be a typical UT deathmatch but with Marshmallow Duel weapons and dynamics.
As well as this we are planning a unique amalgamation of Marshmallow Duel, and co-operative team based gameplay. This gametype has yet to be announced in detail, but expect something very interesting.
Somewhere down the track we are also planning a single player Marshmallow Duel campaign, to follow on from where the Marshmallow Duel movie left off.

Here is a list of the planned weapons, and their function in the game.
The insurmountable Gun!
Some say the most powerful weapon, the gun is the only real 'gun' weapon in Marshmallow Duel. Able to fire only in a direct horizontal line, the gun will wipe out anything in it's path.
The program-crashing 10,000 volts!
We can't promise you that it won't crash the game again in Mowbray's Revenge as it did some times in the original Marshmallow Duel, it is JUST THAT DEVESTATING! It is powerful in such a way that it is hard to contain it within the game. Watch the Marshmallow Duel movie and you can see just what kindof repurcussions 10,000 volts of electricity can have on you when you are playing the game. Basically it zaps your enemy when you touch them, if you have it.
The ambidextrous Invisibility!
Invisibilty in the original Marshmallow Duel could be quite a gamble, sometimes it would make you invisible, and other times it would just make you blink. However when it did make you invisible it could be quite dangerous as neither you OR your player could see you. We are keeping quiet about exactly how invisibilty is going to work in the game, but don't count on it being 100% reliable!
The dastardly Mine!
The ultimate trap, an invisible land-mine planted in secret places by your enemies. Be careful which direction you walk in after you plant it.
The abominable Skull!
The skull is the most feared of powerups, as it is about the only one which does not give you a gift on touching it, but instant death instead.
The devestating TNT!
Destroys ground! (You can't use it)
The gravity-defying Boots!
Find the boots powerup to give you a fascinating extra boost when you jump, and be able to reach higher places, suddenly.
The lackadaisical Parachut!
The parachut is quite a rewarding experience letting you casually glide down to places which gravity would other wise bring you to a lot quicker and more painfully. Cheat death by using the Parachut!
The destructively ignorant Grenade!
Use this grenade to destroy the environment around you. The grenade is not used to injure the other players, but used enough you can destroy the whole map making it very difficult to navigate your way around without falling into the deadly Marshmallow Duel sea.
The mind-bogglingly extraneous Grappling Hook!
Used to grab up onto higher ledges when jumping in the original game, the grappling hook will have a bit more distance in Mowbray's Revenge, allowing you to zip up to higher places at the drop of a hat.
Fantastic Nuke-Puck!
A great thing that you slide along the floor to the feet of your opponent. Kindof like a cross between the grenade, and curling. The difference is that when it gets to the enemy, they are destroyed in a glorious explosion.
Much more weapons are on their way, but you will have to wait to find out about them. Marshmallow Duel has never looked, never felt, and never marshmallowed this good!
